The medina of the ochre city is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a fortified medieval city dating back to the Amazigh Empire, with ramparts dating back to the year 1123.
We invite you to experience a vibrant historical city through its narrow streets, architecture, bustling markets, and the culturally significant square, “Jamaa El Fnaa.” The city’s mosque, “Koutoubia,” is visible from several kilometers away, and its craftsmanship adds to the charm. Additionally, our riad is located just 30 minutes away from the desert, offering you a chance to immerse yourself in a different setting and take a break from the passage of time.
